Beagle Paws Rescue
Beagle Paws was the vision of founder Sheila Lewis, in 2002 she made it her mission to bring awareness to the plight of Beagles in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Her promotion of the Beagle as "more than just hunting dogs, they are pets too !" attracted a lot of attention. Other passionate Beagle lovers came forward with offers to help. In January of 2003 Beagle Paws organization was officially launched.
Founded in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador it has now grown to become Canada's largest Beagle Rescue organization, with an established volunteer base in British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Our non-profit registered charity relies on the support of dedicated volunteers all across Canada to help save abandoned and neglected Beagles.
With Deborah's dedication and devotion in caring for animals, there was no hesitation to work with Beagle Paws Rescue. The opportunity to provide the love, forever home, and gain the trust of an animal who often comes to her with their last hope, is one of the most rewarding feelings one can receive.
